Object Description
Circa 1810, George III mahogany bow fronted chest of drawers. With ebonised edging to the top and front, the fore-edge has flame mahogany veneers and an unusual configuration of a pair of short bow fronted drawers to either side of a set of faux drawers, which open up to reveal a double drawer with original lock and key. There are 3 bow fronted drawers with mahogany veneer fronts beneath, and most drawers have bovine or cow horn knob handles. It has a shaped, dipped apron and it stands on 4 French raised bracket feet.
