Object Description
An unusual late George III mahogany Chest of Drawers, in the manner of Gillows of Lancaster and London.
English, c. 1790.
The rectangular top, with a reeded edge and rounded projecting corners, above the three figured well graduated cockbeaded drawers, with brass lion-mask ring handles; flanked by reeded corner columns, terminating in bold turned and reeded toupie feet. The bottom edge strung with ebony line. Back panelled.
