George III Bracket Clock.
Stunning mahogany case with Cupola top surmounted by a ‘pineapple’ finial, profusely inlaid with brass, fishscale side frets and floral side carrying handles, the case standing on ball feet.
Fine quality five pillar eight day double fuse movement striking the hours on a large silvered bell.
Painted dial with Roman numerals inscribed ‘W.Chater, London’. C.1810
