Object Description
A very good George III Period Mahogany and Inlaid Lady’s Compendium Table, the rectangular crossbanded hinged top opening to reveal a fitted writing area with a leather lined reading stand and compartments for quills etc. above three frieze drawers and a central slide out work basket, the whole raised on square tapered supports terminating in spade feet.
This was made to be free standing and the back is finished to reflect the details on the front.
