Object Description
A pretty George III period mahogany commode with black and white line inlay to top and front, raised on splayed bracket feet untied by a shaped apron. We originally had this commode in stock some 40 years ago when a very good client asked us to convert it into a bar which we think has been rather well done by changing the hinges round so the flap at the front is now hinged from below rather than being attached to and hinged at the top.
Circa. 1790.
