Object Description
Circa 1790, George III pitch pine press. Surmounted by a small moulded cornice, the upper section is flanked by fluted pilasters and has 2 doors with arched and rectangular fielded panels with fretted brass fittings. These open to a shelved interior with cup hooks, and are above a lower section with 3 short over 3 long drawers with original brass swan-neck handles. All supported on a simple moulded base over bracket feet.
