Object Description
Circa 1880, George III style steel and brass fire basket, from Monkton Hall, Musselburgh. With raised cast iron backplate with a cast female figure and cherub design, over a serpentine fronted, pierced and engraved basket surmounted by cast urns. Standing on tapering, engraved brass front legs, and steel back legs.
