Object Description
A fine quality George IV – William IV period library table or desk in beautifully faded mahogany.
English, circa 1830
Why we like it
The finest quality figured mahogany has mellowed to a most wonderful honey colour. The drawers are mahogany-lined throughout – unmistakable sign of great quality. The tooled leather top is of particularly nice colour and quality.
Very useful piece with its nine deep drawers and a generous legroom between the pedestals and under the drawers.
