Object Description

George Jones Majolica jug/pitcher which features green leaves, bulrushes/cattails and water lilies. Brown ground version. Colouration: brown, green, pink, are predominant. Bears a pattern number, ‘1800 T’.

Object Condition

Good. KILN EFFECTS: patches of slightly thin glaze application to the rim; small firing pit to one leaf on side. RESTORATION. Filled chip to spout.
