Object Description

George Jones Majolica candlestick which features a lady dressed in a classical, flowing robe, holding the candle sconce above her head. This piece is one of a few George Jones pieces inspired by Ancient Egypt and the Egyptians. Colouration: turquoise, pink, green, are predominant.

Good. RESTORATION. Sconce reglued and joins retouched (through one arm and pedestal sitting on her head).
