Object Description

George Jones Majolica wall pocket which features a hummingbird drawing nectar from a flower, amongst lush leaves and foliage. Colouration: green, white, pink, are predominant. The piece bears maker’s marks for the George Jones pottery. Bears a pattern number, ‘3385’.

Object Condition

Generally Good. RESTORATION. Filled chips to end of two top branches. Retouched flaking to leaves. Remodelled hummingbird beak. Filled chip to wing tips.
