The serpentine shaped high back is not just very comfortably but very elegant and refined.
In the Philippine drawing room interior from Brasted in Kent a commission he worked on from 1902. It is mentioned that there are clear indications of the future and one can certainly see it in this design, still so thoroughly modern and ahead of it’s time.
