Corner cupboards, or cabinets dependent on whether their doors are glazed or not, are the perfect answer for those looking to add a different perspective to a room, or add practical storage to a room when they have no conventional space left to position furniture in.
This corner cabinet was constructed towards the end of the 18th century using good quality and well figured mahogany, which has retained an attractive colour. It also has some particularly elegant inlaid strung decoration which really lifts the piece.
It retains its original plinth and comes with fully functioning locks and key. The majority of the glazing appears to be original and the astragal decoration is incredibly well executed, creating a really elegant effect.
As with all of the items which we offer for sale this corner cabinet has been attended to in our workshops by our skilled restorers and lightly cleaned plus naturally waxed in the traditional fashion, ensuring that it is ready to be placed immediately into the home for use.
