Tapering Legs Terminating On Original Spade Feet
(Tea tables were popular throughout the 18th century. Made
to stand elegantly to the side of a room they would be brought
into the centre of a room and the tops opened out to serve tea
from as and when required. These are a good example, with real
elegance for a variety of reasons including the serpentine form
and tapered legs. They are constructed from good quality mahogany
and would be a great addition to any home for both their original
purpose, or indeed as a simple pair of side/console tables.)
