(This is a wonderful example of its type and remains super condition
with very little restoration to speak of other than cleaning, polishing and
the replacement brass handles which are exactly the style it would have
begun life with. Such a useful piece of furniture at the same time as being
very beautiful it is still as fit for purpose as the day it was made around
300 years ago. It retains it’s original bracket feet which is a relatively
rare occurrence on pieces of this age which have been well used over
the years and unlike some items from this period the ends are also
finished with well figured walnut meaning that it looks just as beautiful
no matter what position it is placed in any room and no matter
what angle it is being viewed from.)
