Object Description
A late 18th century Georgian mahogany chest of drawers.
The chest comprises two short drawers over three graduated long drawers and the top has a broad satinwood cross banded edge with a chequered inlay.
The drawers are oak lined, have a cock beaded edge and original brass swan neck handles.
The drawer fronts have a satinwood and ebony inlay and the chest stands on ogee shaped feet.
This heavy quality chest is very well made and in very good condition with one drawer lock missing. (Circa 1795)
