Pair of rare Georgian cutlery urns specifically made for spoons, veneered in stunning panels of flame mahogany separated with a chequered Boxwood & Ebony herringbone inlay.
The fronts of these splendid Antique Cutlery Urns are adorned with a silver shield-shaped vacant initial plate & escutcheon. Each Georgian Urn stands on a square plinth base on ogee bracket feet, with satinwood crossbanding and dogtooth inlay. They are finished with beautifully shaped, turned finials.
Each comes with a fully working lock and tasselled key. The key must be turned clockwise to unlock.
