(This incredibly practical piece of furniture dates to the
late George III/early Regency period and has a real charm
and elegance for something which at first look may be
considered quite plain. However upon further inspection
we discover that it is constructed from superb quality
mahogany timbers with excellent carved decoration. It
also boasts an impressive amount of storage and is the
perfect, practical item for storing away a whole load of
things which you don’t necessarily wish to have out on
display, whilst making a real feature out of something
placed on the top of it like a sculpture, or clock, or
something similar)
