Object Description

A Georgian mahogany writing table in the manner of Gillows of Lancaster. The top with raised gallery above two drawers, which retain their original turned wooden knobs and nice dovetailed mahogany linings. The table stands on fluted tapering legs with shaped feet. A useful table that can be used as a desk, dressing table or as a side table. English Circa 1830.

Object Condition

Good colour and patina and in great original condition throughout. The writing height is 30.5 ins and there is plenty of leg room.
