Georgian oak dresser and shelves.

Object Description

A Geo III Shropshire oak dresser and shelves. The inverted breakfront rack ,with moulded cornice, having a shaped carved frieze above thee shelves . The ends with two open shelves above spice cupboards, with centre shell inlay, and shallow drawer below. The flat top above three drawers , each retaining their original oval brass handles, above a shaped carved frieze which matches the one on the rack, all standing on moulded square tapering legs.

Good colour and patina, in original condition throughout , a neat and practical dresser from the Shropshire borders. English Circa 1800.
