Georgian satinwood writing table.

Object Description

A small Georgian satinwood writing or centre table. the top with centre oval panel all crossbanded in coromandel with bone and ebony fans in the corners. The table is finished all round with one opening drawer(oak lined) either side and dummies on the ends, and stands on turned legs with ebony rings and decorated brass castors. A useful table that can be used as a writing/centre or dressing table that has plenty of leg room.

Object Condition

Fine colour and patina , nice quality solid satinwood with good crossbanding , probably English but due to the use of satinwood with coromandel there is a chance it may be colonial. Circa 1820.
