An early 20th century George II style walnut veneered pedestal desk.
The desk has reeded canted corners, stands on short bracket feet and is polished at the back so it can free stand.
The desk has nine drawers that have figured walnut fronts with a herring bone cross banding and cock beaded edges.
The drawers have mahogany linings and engraved brass period style handles.
The top of the desk has a replacement black leather hide writing surface with a gold tooled edge.
The desk is in very good condition and the top lifts off the pedestals for transport. (Circa 1920)
