Object Description
A quality pair German Jugendstil bakelite and polished brass candlesticks dating from around 1910. These heavily made solid brass candle sticks are mounted on square pale brown bakelite base with chamfered edges and corners. The brass candlesticks has an ornate base made up of four small corner squares attached to a larger central square supporting a tall elegant brass grooved column the top supporting a wide rounded bowl with a hexagonal shaped edge and with a raised central candle holder. Despite being of very high quality the candlesticks are not marked.
