Ink and Watercolour studies of two Scotts Terriers. (Black and White as in the whisky.)
Signed, inscribed and dated 1940.
Originally from Scotland where she exhibited at the Glasgow Institute in the 1890s she later moved to Hale in Cheshire and appears to have restricted herself to painting dogs. These two are truly delightful and I wonder if it could have been a commission from the whisky company?
