A rare pair of Regency Mahogany Salver Stands by Gillows with rectangular weighted bases having moulded edges and turned ebony salver retainers. These stands with angled upright supports were designed to display silver or pewter salvers, dishes or porcelain chargers upon a sideboard or serving table.
Each stand is stamped “GILLOWS” on the reverse by the esteemed cabinet-making firm Gillows of Lancaster and London.
