This charming side table is crafted from wood, gilt bronze, and marble. The table features a rectangular veined marble top, which is set above a gilt bronze mounted apron. The apron features a large frieze drawer, which is released with the push of a button. The table is raised on four hexagonal tapering legs, which are mounted with Neoclassical style gilt bronze motifs and are connected with a shaped stretcher. The legs terminate in toupie feet. The table is by Thiébaut Frères, a leading producer that was active from the final decades of the eighteenth century through to the first decades of the twenty-first.
