A good quality 1930’s two leaf burr walnut extending twin pedestal dining table.
English circa 1930.
The D-ended shaped top veneered in burr walnut, with two additional leaves, crossbanded with a herringbone inlay and endgrain moulded edge raised on twin pedestals each with turned column and triform bases terminating on pad feet.
There are two oak rails which join the table together when extended for one or two leaves with each leaf being held by brass clips. Fully extended to 9ft – 276cm this table could comfortable seat 8-10 people, also the two leaves can be combined or removed to make adjustable lengths. Each end is 92cm in length with each leaf being 46cm.
In excellent condition having a good honey colour making an attractive dining table.
