Object Description
This early George II silver sparrow beak cream jug was made in London in 1730 by Elizabeth Goodwin and measures just over 3 inches tall by 3 3/8 inches handle to spout, it has double cipher initials to the front and has a cast scrolled handle with plain thumb piece and is fully and clearly hallmarked under the base where it also has the engraved initials of M*R, a lovely jug in very good condition weighing 2.80 ounces or 87 grams.
