Object Description
This early George II silver taper stick was made in London in 1728 by Matthew Cooper and measures 4 3/8 inches in length by 2 5/8 inches across the base. It is fully and clearly hallmarked the base where there are also the engraved initials of H over TI, a lovely taper stick in a less usual design in very good condition.
