Object Description
This very nice pair of Provincial George II silver ribbed Hanoverian rat tailed spoons were made in Exeter in 1727 by James Strang and measure 8 1/8 inches in length and are fully hallmarked to the back of the stems, they both have long well defined rat tails to the backs of the bowl with the bowls themselves being well formed with good tips, a lovely pair of Provincial spoons in very good condition weighing 3.80 ounces or 118 grams.
