Object Description
This good Provincial Charles I silver seal top spoon was made C1620 by William Dodson of Lewes and measures 6.75 inches in length, it has a gilded, crisp and well defined seal to the top of the stem that has the pin prick engraving of MS over MP and the date 1627, it is marked in the bowl with the mark attributed by Kent to William Dodson and is in good condition, weighing 105 ounces or 33 grams.
