Object Description
This Provincial George III silver skewer was made in Chester in 1795 by Richard Richardson and measures 12 3/8 inches in length it bears the engraved initials of S over W*N to the front below the oval ring and is fully and clearly hallmarked to the back side, a nice piece of Chester silver in very good condition weighing 2.55 ounces or 79 grams.
