Object Description
This Provincial James II silver trefid spoon was made C1688 in Exeter by Edward Nott and measures 7.5 inches in length, it is engraved to the back of the stem with the initials A*Y where it is also marked with the town mark struck twice and the makers mark between them, it has a ribbed rat tail to the back of the bowl with the bowl itself being well formed with no major signs of wear, it weighs 1.50 ounces or 46 grams and is in very good condition.
