Object Description
This superb crested George III Irish silver skewer was made in Dublin in 1814 by Samuel Neville and measures 11.75 inches in length, it is crested to the top with a bird of prey feeding her chicks and is fully and very clearly hallmarked above this on the ring, a really nice piece of Irish silver in very good condition weighing 3.10 ounces or 96 grams.
