Object Description
This good quality Queen Anne Britannia silver dog nose spoon was made in London in 1709 by George Cox and measures 8 inches in length, it is engraved to the back of the stem with the initials E*T over C where it is also fully and clearly hallmarked, it has a long well defined rat tail to the back of the bowl with the bowl itself being of good gauge and no signs of wear, a very nice spoon in excellent condition weighing 1.60 ounces or 49 grams.
