Object Description
This rare Provincial Queen Anne Britannia silver dog nose spoon was made in Exeter in 1711 by Francis Service of Bideford/Barnstaple and measures 7 11/16 inches in length and has the pin prick initials of EB over 1712, it is fully and clearly hallmarked to the back of the stem and has a beaded rat tail to the back of the bowl, the bowl itself is well formed and it is in very good condition.
