Object Description
This lovely set of 6 crested George III silver tablespoons were made in Exeter in 1773 by Richard Birdlake and measure 8 5/8 inches in length, they are crested to the fronts with a bird of prey and are fully bottom hallmarked to the backs of the stems, these are squashed as is usual but can be read, they have a long drop heel to the backs of the bowls and are in very condition with well formed bowls weighing 14.20 ounces or 441 grams.
