Object Description
This set of 6 Provincial George II silver shell backed tablespoons were made in Exeter in 1757 by Jason Holt and measure 8 3/8 inches in length and bears the engraved initials of H over I*G to the backs of the stems where they are also fully bottom hallmarked, they have a well defined shell to the backs of the bowls and are in very good condition weighing 12.45 ounces or 388 grams.
