Object Description
Circa1920s a neat size mahogany gossip chair by ‘Wheelers of Arncroach Fife’. The Chippendale style chair with shaped cresting rail, pierced splat, original leather drop in seat pad, back legs square and slightly outswept, with simple square tapering legs at the front, all united by conforming stretchers. Wheelers had a lot of collaborations with ‘Sir Robert Lorimer’, who lived in Kellie castle, close by.
