Gubelin Colombian emerald and diamond ring. Set with a rectangular step cut natural Colombian Muzo emerald with no colour enhancement in an open back corner claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.80 carats, flanked by six stepped horizontally set rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover channel settings with an approximate combined weight of 1.00 carats, to a structured openwork gallery with intricate rectangular backholing, and flanked by heavy stepped shoulders, tapering down to a solid flat shank. Marked platinum, maker’s mark for Gubelin, engraved ‘1923-30 Juillet-1943’, Swiss, circa 1943, accompanied by Gubelin box and Gubelin report #14040239.
