Diamond cluster ring by Hammerman Brothers. Set with forty eight round brilliant cut diamonds of in open back grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 4.50 carats, to an impressive dress ring featuring a central dome encased in a textured basket with a stylised foliate design, polished edges and fancy honeycomb open backholing, the heavy integrated shoulders tapering to a solid grooved shank. Marked 18 carat and platinum, numbered 32 and 81546, maker’s mark ‘HB’, American, circa 1960.
