An all-over repeat pattern covers the red field in the centre in accents of cream and black this is then enclosed with a repeat pattern floral border. Object History

Karabakh is a region that is in present-day known as Eastern Armenia and Southwestern Azerbaijan. The female population of this region are known for the professional weaving techniques and skills, famous to this day for their Fine wool carpets. This piece has been woven with the finest hand-spun wool and cotton, which has been dyed with organic vegetable dyeing techniques.
