This piece is a Persian carpet was woven by hand in Kerman Persia, one of the largest, most developed cities in the province and one of the most important citied in the southeast of Iran. The rug features traditional Tribal designs that derive from this area. The raw materials used are of the finest quality, with only the best hand-spun wool and cotton which have been dyed with organic dyeing techniques and delicately hand-knotted on looms by master craftsmen in the 1920s.
