Handwoven in Persia, Sarough or Sarouk rugs are from the northeast of Iran, known for their unique design elements. The rug features traditional Tribal designs that derive from this area. The raw materials used are of the finest quality, with only the best hand-spun wool and cotton which have been dyed with organic dyeing techniques and delicately hand-knotted on looms by master craftsmen in the 1880s.
