This bold repeat pattern geometric rug is a vintage kilim, woven by hand in the 1940s in Persia, Varamin. The design features bold green, pink, brown and blue accent colours that make up the all-over design geometric design. This has then been framed by a rich orange border with a motif design woven throughout.
This vintage piece was constructed in Varamin city, the capital of Varamin County, in Tehran Province, constructed with fine hand-spun wool and cotton that have been dyed with organic vegetable dyeing techniques that have been used for generations. The materials used are of the finest quality making this piece durable and sure to last for generations if cared for correctly.
