Highly decorative early 20th century hardwood and mother of pearl Middle Eastern trunk or chest.
This trunk consists of a foliate carved top with inlaid mother of pearl circular decoration with various geometric design borders.
The foliate carved front, sides and back all with profuse mother of pearl inlaid decorative and geometric decoration with carrying handles to the sides and shaped edge below.
This trunk is in very good condition for age, is of stable construction and can go straight into a home and would be ideal as a coffee tables as well as great for storage.
