Object Description
A highly decorative late 19th century French demi-lune gilt console table.
This table consists of a demi-lune shaped white marble top, the top with evidence of an old repair but in stable condition.
The top is supported by a finely carved giltwood base, the frieze with carved ball bead design, carved and pierced stylised square and flower decoration and ball bead carved design below with large carved floral paterae to the top of each leg.
The table is supported by four turned, fluted and stop fluted tapered legs with carved foliate decoration below.
This table is in good condition for age, is of stable construction and can go straight into a home.
