Object Description

Oil painting by American illustrator c1930 As good as American illustration gets in the prewar period. I have found this was the original artwork for a 1929 Packard motor car advertisement but sadly have not identified the artist. The tag line ran ‘Packard, like its patrons, demands and selects only the best the world provides’. A gem like little oil, perfectly painted, full of narrative content and 1920s chic.
