Hugo Lonitz Majolica Partridges Figural Stand

Object Description

Lonitz Majolica cache pot stand which features partridges in front of reeds and an oak tree. Colouration: green, grey, brown, are predominant. The piece bears maker’s marks for the Lonitz pottery. Bears a pattern number, ‘1204’.

Object Condition

Good. RESTORATION. Filled chips to the majority of the reed leaf tips. One wing tip reglued and join retouched. Two oak leaves remodelled. A few filled chips to other oak leaves. One oak leaf reglued and joins retouched. Overpainted chip to reverse base edge.
