Object Description
Circa 1870. A large and impressive French cast brass domed face wall clock, surmounted by a cartouche with a large section beneath including metal rods, swags and foliate casting, the circular domed face with Arabic numerals and gilded hands with flower painting between each of the numbers, with a convex glass in a gilded bezel, the sides with a pair of cast brass and gilded copper head’s with pillars and urns and the foliate casting continuing down towards the base which finishes with a ribbon and downward facing foliate casting. The clock has recently been serviced and is working.
